According to the website of the United States Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Binance's former CEO Zhao Changpeng is set to be released from prison on September 29th (local time) after completing his sentence. The BOP website includes Zhao Changpeng's prisoner number, age, race, and other information. He is currently reported to have been transferred from a prison in Southern California to RRM Long Beach. Previously, Binance's current CEO, Richard Teng, stated in a media interview, "It is true that the US Department of Justice has permanently banned Binance from returning to the management frontline. It is true that Zhao Changpeng will not be able to return to the management frontline, but his rights as the largest shareholder will be fully preserved."
