Binance Founder CZ to Be Released on 9/29, Currently Undergoing Reentry Program
Binance founder Zhao Changpeng (CZ) is set to be released from prison on September 29 (local time), after serving time for violating the Anti-Money Laundering Act, according to Decrypt. CZ has been transferred from a prison in Southern California to RRM Long Beach, a halfway house where inmates complete a reentry program before being released. "Previously, Zhao Changpeng pleaded guilty to save Binance and was subsequently sentenced to imprisonment. He will not be able to participate in the operation of Binance for three years after his release," the publication explained.
