Binance Temporarily Suspends BEP20 and opBNB Deposits, Withdrawals for Network Upgrades
Binance, the prominent cryptocurrency exchange, has temporarily suspended BEP20 and opBNB network deposits and withdrawals to facilitate upgrades and hard forks on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) and opBNB Chain (opBNB) networks. Binance suspended BEP20 deposits and withdrawals on September 26, 2022, at 01:10 (UTC) and opBNB deposits and withdrawals on September 24, 2022, at 06:45 (UTC). The exchange will announce the resumption of these services once the upgrades and hard forks are complete. This suspension allows Binance to ensure the stability and security of its platform while supporting network advancements.
