3,812 Bitcoin Moved from Coinbase Prime to Anonymous Address
Coinbase Prime, a cryptocurrency exchange and custodian, has transferred 3,812 BTC to an anonymous address, according to data from blockchain tracker Whale Alert. The transaction, worth approximately $230 million, was made on Tuesday, August 9th. The origin of the funds and the identity of the recipient are unknown. However, the movement of such a large amount of Bitcoin has raised concerns about potential market manipulation or illegal activities. This is not the first time that Coinbase has been involved in large-scale Bitcoin transactions. In June, the exchange transferred over 10,000 BTC to an unknown address. Coinbase has not commented on the reasons for these transactions.
