Bitcoin Investors Not Psychopaths But Financial Geniuses, Says University of Toronto Behavioural Scientist

According to Decrypt, Stefano Di Domenico, Assistant Professor of Behavioural Science at the University of Toronto in Canada, analyzed 500 Canadian Bitcoin investors and determined that "the vast majority of Bitcoin investors are financially literate people with impeccable characters." He stated that "there are common misconceptions about crypto investors. The community is stereotyped as being reckless with money, immature, but this is not the case." And further elaborated, "Bitcoin investors tend to be intellectually curious, emotionally stable, and place more importance on personal growth, relationships, community, and health over material possessions." He is working on a co-authored study titled 'The Psychology and Financial Literacy of Bitcoin Investors,' but the formal report has yet to be released.
