Bithumb Completes Map Protocol (MAPO) Mainnet Support and Changes Token Symbol from MAP to MAPO

Bithumb has announced the completion of support for the Map Protocol (MAPO, formerly MAP) mainnet transition and token change (MAP→MAPO) on its official website. Accordingly, MAPO deposits and withdrawals, which had been suspended, will resume on the 18th (today) at 19:30. As of April this year, Map Protocol announced that it would migrate its existing ERC20-based MAP token to a mainnet-based MAPO token. The mainnet launch enables Map Protocol to have greater control over its tokenomics and development roadmap, as well as to explore new use cases and partnerships. Bithumb's support for MAPO is a significant development for the project, as it provides increased liquidity and accessibility for MAPO holders. The resumption of deposits and withdrawals will allow users to seamlessly trade and manage their MAPO tokens on one of the world's leading cryptocurrency exchanges. The Map Protocol team is excited about the future of MAPO and believes that the mainnet launch and Bithumb's support will contribute to its continued growth and adoption.
