Bitwise CIO: Institutions Are Adopting Bitcoin ETFs at Breakneck Pace
Macro and ETF research specialist Jim Bianco, founder of Bianco Research, recently stated that "there have been virtually no inflows into spot bitcoin ETFs." However, Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan sharply disagrees, asserting that "institutions are adopting bitcoin ETFs faster than any ETF in history." "Jim Bianco is mistaken," Hougan said on "ETF Edge." "He mentioned that the BlackRock spot bitcoin ETF (IBIT) only has $1.45 billion in assets under management. But IBIT is the second-fastest-growing ETF out of the 300 that have launched this year. Institutions are embracing bitcoin ETFs at an astonishing rate."
