Chromia's Native Staking Arrives on September 24, MVP Mainnet Phase Concludes September 30

Chromia (CHR), a Layer-1 blockchain platform, has announced the launch of its native staking feature on September 24, 2022 (local time), as per its official blog. Users will be able to stake CHR on the Chromia Chain with this new functionality. If users used the same EVM address connected to their Chromia account to stake CHR on Ethereum (ETH) or Binance Chain (BNB), the interface will be able to recognize it. After September 28, EVM staking incentives will no longer be distributed, and users will have six months to claim them. Following that, all staking incentives will be paid out via the mainnet. Additionally, for the first four days after native staking starts, Chromia will provide double incentives. Chromia also stated that on September 30, it will conclude the MVP mainnet phase, which it called the "next-to-last stage" before the full-fledged 'mainnet' launch. Future development milestones and major ecosystem updates will be revealed by Chromia the following week.
