Conduit Reports on Degen Chain Network Outage
Crypto infrastructure startup Conduit has published a post-mortem report on the Degen Chain network outage via its official channels. "On July 10th (UTC), we increased the batch size on Degen to 10MB. However, this caused Degen to start delaying the batch posting of data to the higher networks and an error occurred when trying to fix it. We then had to resync the data directory from genesis, which alone took 40+ hours. We then tried to recover the transactions, but due to timestamp issues we failed to recover all transactions. After collaborating with various rollup teams, we were able to revert to the state before the batch size increase and the issue was fully resolved 54 hours after the outage." ---
