According to News 1, the incident occurred on the streets of Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 3:00 am on the 15th. The gang allegedly defrauded 300 million won worth of coins using counterfeit bills. They handed over 210 million won in 50,000 won bills to Mr. B as payment for the transaction. However, Mr. B realized that all the serial numbers of the money he received were the same, prompting him to report the incident to the police. The authorities obtained an arrest warrant for Mr. A on the afternoon of the 16th. The investigation into the counterfeit bill scam is ongoing, and additional arrests may be made.
