Ethereum Co-Founder Says 'Crypto Is the Most Complex Thing in Software History'

Ethereum Co-founder and CEO of ConsenSys, Joseph Lubin, recently stated that "security failures in the digital asset space can lead to significant financial losses" and described cryptocurrency as "the most complex thing in software history" in terms of potential threats, attack vectors, and complexities, according to Cointelegraph. He emphasizes that "100 years ago, bank robbers showed us where the security vulnerabilities were, and bug bounties and security audits were created to make them more secure. As the crypto space grows, we have more actors with malicious intent, and the industry needs to do a better job at implementing technology." He adds that "as the world moves to Web3, decentralized protocols, the attack surface only gets bigger. We have to stay ahead of it."
