38% of Cryptocurrencies Listed on Binance/Coinbase This Year Lost Over Half Their Value
Blockchain analytics firm Blockworks analyzed 42 cryptocurrencies (excluding stablecoins) that were listed on Binance and Coinbase this year and found that only 12 of the listed coins saw their prices increase after listing. "Of the newly listed digital assets, 38% have shed more than half their value since their listing debut," the media outlet reported. "While securing a major exchange listing can translate to greater liquidity and — potentially — price appreciation, there’s no guarantee that a post-listing rally will follow."
