34% of Ethereum Supply Now Staked on Beacon Chain

Ethereum's Beacon Chain Staked ETH Reaches 34% The amount of ETH staked on the Ethereum Beacon Chain has reached 47.36 million ETH, representing 33.9% of the circulating supply. This is more than three times the 10.9% that was staked two years ago. The Beacon Chain is a separate blockchain that was launched in December 2020 and will eventually replace the Ethereum mainnet. Staking ETH on the Beacon Chain allows users to earn rewards and help secure the network. The increase in staked ETH is likely due to the upcoming launch of Ethereum 2.0, which will bring major upgrades to the network. Ethereum 2.0 is expected to launch sometime in 2023.
