Evgeny Gaevoy, CEO of crypto market maker Wintermute, recently asserted that should Ethereum (ETH) stumble in the future, the cause wouldn't be due to Solana's (SOL) superior speed, but rather inherent inconsistencies within Ethereum's "elite." Gaevoy elaborated further, stating that prominent figures like Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin and Uniswap (UNI) founder Hayden Adams prioritize social responsibility while simultaneously crafting a system based on capitalist principles. He contends that the coexistence of capitalism and socialism is antithetical. Vitalik Buterin recently voiced his critique of celebrity-backed meme coins, maintaining that while meme coins supporting worthwhile causes such as healthcare or art are permissible, using meme coins to achieve ulterior motives is undesirable.
