Finally: Ethereum fees are low enough for 'high-value defi' to flourish
Ethereum (ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently tweeted that layer2 fees have finally dropped to a level where 'high-value defi' can properly function. He explained that he has argued since 2020 that crypto won't get 'high-value defi' until fees are low enough, and that as of approximately March 2023, that has finally happened. Buterin added that for the next big milestones, the combination of ZK-SNARK proofs and account abstraction will be critical.
