Ethereum Spot ETF: Citi Predicts $5.4B Inflows in 6 Months

Citigroup expects a spot Ethereum exchange-traded fund (ETF) to attract inflows of up to $5.4 billion in its first six months, according to a report by CoinDesk. That would represent 30% to 35% of the inflows seen by the first Bitcoin futures ETF. However, the bank also cautioned that inflows could be lower than expected due to the lack of staking support and the fact that it will be a second mover to a Bitcoin spot ETF. The industry is eagerly awaiting the launch of an Ethereum spot ETF, with some expecting it to happen as soon as July 23.
