Euler Hacker Applauds Pendle Exploit, Implying No Fund Return

$192 Million Hack' Euler Hacker Sends 'Well Done' Message to Pendle Hacker According to Etherscan data, the hacker address (starting with 0xB269) responsible for the March 2022 exploit on Euler Finance (EUL) sent an on-chain message to the Pendle hacker address (starting with 0x7A2f), stating: "well done, glad none of the funds will be returned, you win they lose." Euler Finance had suffered a $192 million hack at the time, with the funds being fully recovered through negotiations with the hacker. Pendle, a decentralized finance protocol based on Pendle (PENDLE), recently suffered an exploit on August 4th, resulting in losses of around $27 million, with the hacker yet to indicate any willingness to return the funds. The message from the Euler hacker suggests that they approve of the Pendle hack and believe that the funds will not be returned to the victims. This could be seen as a sign of support for the Pendle hacker or as a warning to other potential hackers that they will not be punished for their actions.
