FIRO Adjusts Token Emission and Block Reward System to Enhance Project Sustainability

The privacy-centric cryptocurrency, FIRO, has implemented adjustments to its token emission and block reward structure. This move follows a successful governance vote that seeks to optimize the project's long-term sustainability and ecosystem growth. Effective at block height 958,655, FIRO's token emission will be modified to 6.25 FIRO per block until the supply reaches 21.4 million, and 1 FIRO per block thereafter. Additionally, the distribution of block rewards has been revised: - Masternodes: 70% - Miners: 5% - Developers: 15% - Community: 10% These changes aim to foster a more balanced and robust ecosystem by providing incentives for various stakeholders, including masternode operators, miners, developers, and the broader FIRO community. The new emission schedule and reward distribution are expected to support the project's long-term growth and ensure its continued success in the privacy-focused cryptocurrency landscape.
