Gala Games' Former CEO Presumes Stolen ETH Returned

Jason Brink, the former CEO of blockchain game platform Gala Games (GALA) which was compromised in an exploit, stated on his X (formerly Twitter) that "it appears the attacker has returned all the ETH they stole in the hack." According to on-chain records, a suspected hacker address starting with 0xe2Ca transferred 5,913 ETH, worth $22.31 million at the time of writing, to the Gala contract address at 9:43 PM KST on the 21st. The day before, Gala, which was compromised in a hack, said, "About 600 million GALA (about $21 million) were sold without permission, and 4.4 billion GALA were burned, causing damage. We have identified the culprit and are working with the FBI and DOJ to resolve the issue."
