In a bid to enhance collaboration and promote financial digitization, the National Bank of Georgia engaged in a meeting with representatives from Ripple. The meeting included Natia Turnava, the acting chairperson of the National Bank of Georgia, and James Wallis, the Vice President of CBDC and central bank engagement at Ripple Labs. Notably, the National Bank of Georgia has previously selected Ripple as a partner in its digital Lari (GEL) second pilot project initiated last year.
