German Government Bitcoin Seizures Flooded with Hateful Messages

The German government's recent sale of its entire 49,800 BTC seizure from illicit sources has been followed by a series of bitcoin transfers to its address containing hateful messages. According to Decrypt, over 40 transactions have been sent to the German government address since the sale, many of which reportedly contain messages referring to Hitler, the instigator of World War II, or the past Nazi salute "Sieg Heil." The amount of bitcoin sent to the address so far is worth approximately $420. The German government has not yet commented on the matter, but it is unclear what action, if any, it will take in response to these messages.
