Goldman Sachs Execs: Clients 'Laser-Focused' on BTC, ETH, Other Coins' ETFs Unlikely

Matthew McDermott, Goldman Sachs global head of digital assets, stated at the Consensus conference in Texas that "the approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF was a big step forward, so it's natural that there's a lot of anticipation for a spot Ether ETF." He also mentioned that the approval of a spot Ether ETF may not necessarily lead to the approval of spot ETFs for other cryptocurrencies like SOL and XRP. "Clients are laser-focused on BTC, ETH. Those are the main two coins that trade futures on CME," McDermott said.
