Grayscale Updates Ethereum Mini Trust 19b-4 Filing with SEC

Grayscale Investments, LLC, through its subsidiary, Grayscale X LLC, has filed an updated version of Form 19b-4 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for its Ethereum Mini Trust (ETH), according to Bloomberg ETF specialist James Seyffart. This filing is a request for the SEC to review the trust. Grayscale had also filed an updated version on Wednesday (KST). The Ethereum Mini Trust is designed to provide investors with exposure to the price of Ether, the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain. The trust is structured as a grantor trust, which means that it does not pay corporate income taxes. Instead, the trust's investors are taxed on their individual share of the trust's income. The updated Form 19b-4 filing includes several changes from the previous version. Most notably, the filing now includes a prospectus supplement that provides additional information about the trust, including its investment objectives, risks, and fees. The filing also includes an updated list of the trust's custodians and sub-custodians.
