Kaia, the Integrated Chain of Klaytn and FSN, Launches 'Kairos' Testnet
Kaia, the integrated chain of Klaytn (KLAY) and FSN (FNSA), has officially launched its v1.0.0 testnet, dubbed 'Kairos.' The existing Klaytn Baobab testnet will transition to the Kairos testnet via a hard fork scheduled for June 13, 2023, at 10:13 AM (KST). The KAIA token is a native token used as a means of paying for gas fees (transaction transfer fees) and is distributed to block validators and the ecosystem fund at every block. Validators can participate in major governance through the on-chain. Regular users can also delegate KAIA tokens to validators. This launch marks a significant milestone in the development of Kaia, paving the way for the mainnet launch of the integrated chain in the near future.
