LayerZero Airdrop Estimated at $600M-$1B, Says WOO X Research

The upcoming airdrop of LayerZero's native token, ZRO, could be worth between $600 million and $1 billion, according to a report by WOO X Research, the research arm of decentralized cryptocurrency exchange WOO X. The report notes that if the ZRO token is valued at four times its most recent funding round at the time of the token generation event (TGE), and if 15% of the total supply is distributed in the airdrop, then the airdrop would be worth $600 million. This would result in a market capitalization of $1.8 billion based on the initial circulating supply and a fully diluted valuation of $12 billion. Alternatively, if the TGE valuation is 4.5 times the previous valuation and 20% of the total supply is distributed in the airdrop, then the airdrop value would be $1 billion. In the first scenario, airdrop recipients could receive between $750 and $1,500 worth of tokens, while in the second scenario, they could receive between $1,350 and $2,700. The ZRO airdrop is expected to take place in the coming weeks, and LayerZero has not yet announced the exact date or the criteria for eligibility. However, the project has stated that it will be distributing tokens to its community members, including early adopters, active users, and liquidity providers.
