LayerZero CEO Attributes ZRO's Success to Anti-Sybil Filters

LayerZero (ZRO) CEO Bryan Pellegrino credits the project's success to its rigorous anti-Sybil filtering measures. This strategy, he claims, curbed botting and excessive farming, allowing ZRO to outshine competitors like ZKsync (ZK) and StarkNet (STRK) during airdrops. In an interview with Cointelegraph, Pellegrino contrasted ZRO's performance with that of STK and ZK, which he stated had weaker Sybil filtering mechanisms. Consequently, STRK and ZK experienced more significant price drops following their respective airdrops, 91% and 67%, respectively, while ZRO's decline was a modest 23%. Pellegrino emphasizes the importance of preventing Sybil attacks, where malicious actors create multiple identities to manipulate protocols or distort incentives. By implementing robust anti-Sybil measures, LayerZero ensures fairness and integrity within its ecosystem.
