LayerZero Unveils Preliminary List of Suspected Sybil Addresses

LayerZero, the cross-chain messaging protocol, has released a preliminary list of 803,093 addresses that are suspected of being Sybil addresses. Sybil addresses are addresses that are created and controlled by a single entity to give the appearance of multiple users. This can be used to manipulate voting or reward systems. LayerZero encourages self-reporting of Sybil addresses and has set a deadline of May 31st for the final list to be shared. The company says that this list is preliminary and may be updated as the bounty hunting methodology improves. LayerZero is committed to ensuring the integrity of its platform and will continue to work to identify and exclude Sybil addresses from rewards.
