Web3 Game Legend of Arcadia Secures $4 Million in Seed Funding Web3 investment specialist Everest Ventures Group (EVG) has announced that its multi-chain casual RPG card game, Legend of Arcadia (LoA), has closed a seed funding round of $4 million. The round attracted participation from a range of investors, including Animoca Brands, OKX Ventures, and The Sandbox COO and co-founder Sebastien Borget. According to LoA's Executive Producer, Andy Lee, the funds will be used to expand the game's immersive Arcadia universe and develop new features and experiences. "Legend of Arcadia is poised to become one of the top mobile games," said Lee. "We are proud of what we have achieved and are grateful for the support of our investors and partners. Games will be the next major driver of mass adoption for Web3." LoA has employed a unique game publishing strategy of expanding from Web2 to Web3, recently launching a Telegram mini-game. The game has reportedly garnered over 400,000 social media followers and is targeting a Q4 launch this year.
