Leveraged Ethereum ETF Debuts with $5M Trading Volume on Day One

The U.S. fund manager Volatility Shares has launched the first leveraged Ethereum ETF in the United States, ETHU. On its debut day, June 4, ETHU saw a trading volume of $5 million. This is higher than the combined trading volume of all Ethereum futures ETFs on their first day but lower than Bitcoin's. Bloomberg ETF specialist Eric Balchunas commented via X, "The U.S. fund manager Volatility Shares' leveraged Ethereum ETF (ticker ETHU) was officially launched today (June 4, local time). This is the first leveraged Ethereum ETF in the U.S., and the trading volume on the first day exceeded $5 million. This is higher than the combined first-day trading volume of all Ethereum futures ETFs, but it is still small compared to Bitcoin."
