Lookonchain Reports: Hacker Who Attacked WazirX Holds $95 Million Worth of SHIB

On-chain data analytics provider Lookonchain revealed that the hacker responsible for the WazirX crypto exchange attack has been actively trading the stolen cryptocurrency. According to Lookonchain's analysis, the hacker sold approximately 35 billion Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens, worth around $618,000. Despite the sale, the hacker still holds a massive 540 trillion SHIB tokens, valued at approximately $95.45 million. The WazirX hack, which occurred in August 2022, resulted in the theft of crypto assets worth around $230 million. The hacker gained unauthorized access to the exchange's systems and transferred the stolen funds to various wallets. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the hack, and Lookonchain's analysis provides valuable insights into the hacker's activities following the attack.
