Lufthansa, Deutsche Telekom Join DePIN as Peaq Node Operators
German flag carrier Lufthansa Group and European telecom giant Deutsche Telekom have joined decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) layer-1 network Peaq as node operators, Cointelegraph reported. The network facilitates the sharing of physical infrastructure for better connectivity and a more sustainable and efficient digital infrastructure. Peaq, which currently has over 130 active nodes, is set to launch its network mainnet on Sept. 23. By joining DePIN, Lufthansa and Deutsche Telekom aim to contribute to the development of a more decentralized and resilient digital infrastructure.
