Mango Markets Hacker Avraham Eisenberg Appeals Guilty Plea in 'Mango Markets Exploit' Case

Avraham Eisenberg, the hacker who exploited the Solana-based decentralized exchange Mango Markets (MNGO) last year, has filed a motion to withdraw his guilty plea, according to CoinTelegraph. In his motion, he argues that his guilty plea was flawed because "none of the conduct relevant to the charged offenses occurred in New York" and the government "failed to prove any jurisdictional nexus whatsoever." Eisenberg was set to be sentenced on July 29th, but court records demonstrate that no sentencing has yet taken place. He faces a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
