Moonbeam Unveils Comprehensive 2024 Product Roadmap

Moonbeam, the Polkadot-based Ethereum-compatible smart contract parachain, has unveiled its 2024 product roadmap, codenamed "Moonrise." The roadmap outlines key initiatives and milestones that will significantly enhance the platform's capabilities and user experience. One of the key highlights of the roadmap is the focus on boosting transaction throughput by up to 8x. This will be achieved through technical advancements and optimizations to improve the scalability and performance of the network. Additionally, Moonbeam will integrate Ethereum Danksharding, a data availability sampling technique that will further enhance transaction processing capabilities. The roadmap also prioritizes core protocol enhancements to optimize governance and streamline the decision-making process. The Moonriver canary network will be connected through Axelar bridging, enabling seamless cross-chain communication and shared liquidity. Furthermore, Moonbeam will launch its zkAuth program to improve web2 authentication, providing users with a more secure and efficient way to interact with on-chain applications.
