Movement Network Testnet Boasts Impressive TPS, Surpassing Competitors
Movement, the Ethereum layer-2 network based on the Move language, claims to be outperforming its rivals in terms of transaction speed. Testnet results show that the network can process up to 12,000 transactions per second (TPS), twice the speed of other competing L2s. Co-founder Rushi Manche stated, "Theoretically, we can go up to 30,000–50,000 TPS. We will be the fastest L2 on Ethereum by far." This would put Movement ahead of current TPS leaders like Polygon, which currently handles 190 TPS. The Movement team is confident in their platform's capabilities and expects to revolutionize Ethereum scalability once it goes live.
