Nigeria: National Blockchain Policy Steering Committee Reconstituted
The National Blockchain Policy Steering Committee (NBP-SC) has been reconstituted according to the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). The review of Nigeria's blockchain policy will be one of the committee's main goals. Kashifu Inuwa, NITDA's director-general, explained that "Blockchain is still in its early stages of growth in Nigeria, many people are unaware of its advantages." The blockchain has the potential to improve every sector, including supply chain management, to make sure customers receive the proper items. He said that by bringing together seasoned professionals and companies from the Blockchain ecosystem, the committee's reconstitution has created a central point of contact. The implementation strategy for the National Blockchain Policy will be greatly aided by this.
