NEAR Protocol's Official Twitter Account Hacked
Layer 1 blockchain NEAR Protocol (NEAR) issued a statement on Twitter, "Our official Twitter account on NEAR was hacked this morning. The hacking is suspected to be the work of the notorious hacker 4Chan, but this has not yet been confirmed. The security team investigated and found that during the attack, the hacker did not attempt to phish the NEAR community, through fake links or contracts." Some of the content posted by the hacker has not yet been deleted. The NEAR team is working to remove the malicious content and secure the account. In the meantime, users are advised to be cautious of any suspicious activity on the NEAR Twitter account.
