Nexera Exploit: $1.76M Loss as 47M NXRA Tokens Drained and Swapped
Nexera, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform, fell victim to an exploit that resulted in the theft of approximately $1.76 million worth of NXRA tokens. Blockchain security firm PeckShield revealed on Twitter that 47 million NXRA tokens were drained from Nexera. The perpetrators then proceeded to swap 14.7 million NXRA for 450,000 USDT. Prior to the exploit, blockchain security firm Cerber Alert raised concerns about suspicious activities involving Nexera's proxy contract. They had estimated a potential loss of around $1.5 million. The Nexera team has yet to release an official statement regarding the exploit. However, they are advised to notify their users and take immediate action to mitigate further losses.
