Blockchain Security Firm Nexera Accused of Losing $1.5 Million in Token Theft

CyberAlert, a blockchain security firm, has detected suspicious transactions involving the proxy contract of decentralized finance solution Nexera. NXRA tokens were transferred out to external addresses via the Withdraw Manager functionality after an anonymous address assumed ownership of the proxy contract. The stolen NXRA is being swapped for ETH, and some funds have been bridged to the BNB chain. The estimated total loss is approximately $1.5 million.
