OSL CEO Predicts Ethereum Staking Product Launch in Hong Kong Within 6 Months
Patrick Pan, CEO of Hong Kong's regulated cryptocurrency exchange OSL, expects Ethereum staking products to hit the Hong Kong market within the next six months. "We believe that Ethereum staking products will be launched in the Hong Kong market within the next six months," Pan told DL News. Pan believes the regulatory approval for Ethereum staking could boost the market, despite the lackluster performance of Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs since their launch in Hong Kong. "The SFC is very supportive of the development of the virtual asset industry in Hong Kong," Pan added. "We are in active discussions with the SFC and we expect to receive approval soon."
