Vitalik: 'Overinvestment in Some Infrastructure, Underinvestment in Others'

Ethereum (ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently spoke on his podcast Warpcast, stating that while it's commonly discussed that some infrastructure may be overinvested in, that often means there is underinvestment elsewhere. Buterin explained that while people are eager to invest in higher profile projects which are sometimes referred to as "casinos," they often neglect to invest sufficiently in foundational infrastructure that supports and enables these projects. By not adequately supporting these core elements, there is a risk of creating an imbalance within the ecosystem.
