Paxos Ensures PYUSD Reserve Remains Overcollateralized
Paxos, the issuer of the stablecoin PYUSD, ensures the reserve remains overcollateralized. As of August 30th, the total outstanding PYUSD tokens amount to $908 million. The reserve comprises $149.01 million in US Treasuries and $619 million in US Treasury-backed repurchase agreements. The net assets total $924 million, exceeding the outstanding PYUSD supply and maintaining the overcollateralized state.
