Tornado Cash Launders $23M in ETH from Penpie's $3.6B Hack

Penpie Hacker's $23M ETH Transfer via Tornado Cash Penpie Protocol, a DeFi protocol on Pendel, recently lost $3.6 billion in a hack on August 4th. Now, the hacker (0x2Dc1) has transferred approximately 9,600 ETH ($23 million) through anonymous addresses to Tornado Cash (TORN). Tornado Cash is a privacy protocol that allows users to hide the origins of their cryptocurrency transactions. The hacker's transfer is likely an attempt to launder the stolen funds. In addition to the 9,600 ETH, the hacker still holds 1,661 ETH in their current address. Law enforcement agencies are likely investigating the hack and attempting to recover the stolen funds.
