CryptoQuant CEO: Addresses Holding BTC for 3+ Years Hit Record High

CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju tweeted via X that "Bitcoin addresses holding coins for more than 3 years are at an all-time high in terms of supply held (UTXO Age Bands)." He added that "If you are selling BTC in the current market, it is likely that the coins you are selling were not held for 3+ years. Most of the strong hands who held for 6 months to less than 2 years have sold near the previous all-time high, while weak hands who held for more than 2 years have sold 67% of their holdings. This indicates that long-term holders are continuing to accumulate Bitcoin, while short-term traders are selling. This is a bullish sign for the long-term health of the Bitcoin market.
