The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has swiftly added a 19b-4 filing to its official website for ProShares' application to change their Ether (ETH) futures ETF to a spot ETF. Bloomberg ETF specialist James Seyffart noted the unusual speed of the move. ProShares initially filed for a physically-backed ETH spot ETF on Oct. 7. The SEC's prompt filing suggests that the agency is actively reviewing the application. However, it's crucial to note that the launch date for this ETF, or any others, remains uncertain.
