SEC Feedback on Ethereum Spot ETF Registrations Still Pending

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has yet to provide feedback on registration statements (S-1) submitted by issuers of Ethereum (ETH) spot ETFs, according to a report by cryptocurrency news outlet The Block. Several ETF issuers submitted S-1 drafts on May 31st and are still waiting for SEC feedback. They initially expected feedback by June 7th, but at least two issuers have not yet received any. One source predicted they may receive feedback this week. SEC Chairman Gary Gensler has previously stated that "the next stage of review for ETH spot ETFs is likely to take some time." Last month, the SEC approved requests from exchanges seeking to list ETH spot ETFs to examine changes to trading rules (19b-4). Both 19b-4 and S-1 must be approved before ETH spot ETFs can begin trading on the US stock market.
