Binance Suspends SEI Network Deposits and Withdrawals for Scheduled Network Upgrade
Binance, the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the temporary suspension of SEI deposits and withdrawals on its platform. This suspension is effective from 2:00 AM (UTC) on September 16, 2023, and is intended to facilitate the upcoming SEI network upgrade. The upgrade is scheduled to occur at block height 102,491,599, which is estimated to happen around 3:00 AM (UTC) on September 17, 2023. During the suspension period, users will not be able to deposit or withdraw SEI tokens on Binance. Trading of SEI will also be suspended until the upgrade is complete. Binance has advised its users to make necessary arrangements in advance to avoid any inconvenience during the suspension period.
