According to a recent report by CoinGecko, Solana (SOL) has emerged as the blockchain with the highest average daily transactions per second (TPS), clocking in at an impressive 1053 TPS. This places Solana firmly in the top spot, followed by Sui (854 TPS), BSC (378 TPS), Polygon (190 TPS), Toncoin (175 TPS), Tron (159 TPS), Near (117 TPS), and Avalanche (159 TPS). Notably, Bitcoin and Ethereum trailed behind with 10.7 TPS and 22.8 TPS, respectively. Solana's high TPS is attributed to its unique Proof-of-History (PoH) consensus mechanism, which enables it to process transactions rapidly and efficiently.
