Sui Partners with Circle to Bring USDC to the Sui Network
Mysten Labs, the developer behind the Sui blockchain, has announced a partnership with Circle to bring USDC, the second-largest stablecoin by market capitalization, to the Sui Network. The integration will allow users to seamlessly transfer and hold USDC on the Sui Network, taking advantage of its high throughput and low transaction fees. This move is expected to enhance the utility and adoption of both Sui and USDC in the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Evan Cheng, founder of Mysten Labs, stated at the Singapore 2024 event, "This partnership with Circle is a significant milestone for the Sui Network.
