Tax authorities launch probe into illegal reading rooms and scam coin companies
The National Tax Service (NTS) has launched a nationwide tax investigation involving 55 suspects accused of tax evasion that harms people's livelihoods, including illegal reading room operators and stock manipulation or scam coin companies. The investigation targets 16 illegal reading room operators and 9 scam coin companies. They are suspected of failing to report taxes on their substantial profits from fraud, false information, stock manipulation, and sales of new types of coins. The NTS said it will thoroughly investigate the suspects' tax evasion and other illegal activities to ensure fair taxation and protect the livelihoods of the people.
