Trump Jr.’s crypto project hires Dolomite co-founder as adviser

Eric Trump, the son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, has brought on Corey Caplan, the co-founder of Arbitrum-based margin trading protocol Dolomite, as an adviser to his new crypto project World Liberty Fi. World Liberty Fi said it plans to hire additional people, starting with Caplan. The company's website says it is "a community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about liberty, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness." It is unclear what role Caplan will play at World Liberty Fi. However, his experience in the crypto industry could be valuable to the company. Dolomite is a decentralized margin trading protocol that allows users to trade cryptocurrencies with leverage. The protocol is built on Arbitrum, a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum. Caplan's appointment is the latest sign that the Trump family is increasingly involved in the crypto industry. In December, Eric Trump announced the launch of Trump Digital Trading Cards, a collection of NFTs featuring images of his father.
